Job description
Overview

Production ManagerBirmingham

£50,000 + Discretionary bonusMonday - Friday

This isn’t a Production Manager job for someone who wants to sit in an office moving coloured boxes around on Excel. This is for someone who thrives when the goalposts move; because they do here. You’ll be in a business that changes direction quickly. One day you’ll be sorting out staffing headaches, the next you’ll be working out how to improve line efficiency, and the day after that you’ll be helping the Ops Director plan for growth. If that level of variety excites you, keep reading. If it terrifies you, stop now.

Your team will look to you for answers. Sometimes you won’t have them. But you’ll be good with people, coaching, developing, and stretching them so they don’t just hit today’s targets but are ready for tomorrow’s as well.

Continuous Improvement isn’t a slogan here. It’s the oxygen. Things will only get better if you make them better. If you’ve led CI projects that stuck, not just ones that looked good on PowerPoint, you’ll be in demand.

This role isn’t narrow. You’ll touch lots of areas in the factory, be versatile, and be trusted to make a dent.
