A global exhibition and display graphics firm in the UK seeks a skilled Production Director to lead their expanding digital print operation. Production Director, Digital & Wide Format Graphics - West Midlands. Leading Global Exhibition, Events & Display Graphics business seeks a skilled, experienced and dynamic Production Director to lead & manage their expanding large format digital print manufacturing operation. The role works across the UK & Europe with major Global Brands, overseeing the West Midlands based Studio, Print Production & Installation management operation and driving expansion and enhancement of Production operations.
You will be an effective & experienced Production Manager or Director level individual, currently working in the digital wide format print arena. You will be methodically minded, professional, possess sound commercial acumen and bring a passion for leading an engaged, dynamic & evolving Graphics Studio, Production & Installation team. You will have demonstrable experience in managing & developing a broadly skilled Production team, shaping, guiding & enhancing operational manufacturing effectiveness, advising & introducing new printing / finishing equipment and managing an effective manufacturing process regime in the on demand production of large / wide format printed exhibition, event displays & signage solutions.
You will manage the day to day running of a team of currently circa 30 personnel, including the Studio & Production departments, alongside their associated maintenance & supplier/outsourcing requirements, continually developing and maintaining an enhanced regime of effective production workflow, guidelines & practical manufacturing policies.
You must have a demonstrable track record of experience, responsibility & impact within the large format digital printing / exhibition & displays industry, with proven experience & aptitude in managing, mentoring & motivating a diverse studio, production, finishing & installations department, along with an evolved communication capability that will engage both Clients & internal peers alike.
