Join the Robinsons Family Brewery

We are one of the UK’s oldest family-run breweries with an exciting future. At Robinsons Brewery, we pride ourselves on our heritage, quality, and people. We're looking for a dynamic and organised Production & Raw Material Planner to support our Bottling Operations team and help keep our production line running efficiently.

The Role

As our new Production & Raw Material Planner, you will be at the heart of our production operations — managing raw material procurement, creating production schedules, and collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure everything runs like clockwork.

You'll balance supply and demand, keep communication flowing with our contract customers, and constantly look for ways to improve efficiency and reduce cost — all while making sure the beer keeps flowing!

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage weekly production schedules that meet business and customer needs.
  • Procure raw materials, packaging, and outsourced services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Monitor and reconcile stock levels, forecast requirements, and respond quickly to changes.
  • Liaise with contract customers and internal teams to manage forecasts and availability.
  • Ensure all packaging materials meet FIC and Portman Group compliance requirements.
  • Lead planning meetings, resolve production challenges, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Maintain accuracy in purchasing systems and support with KPI reporting and audits.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have:

  • Proven experience in a planning role within a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong procurement knowledge and supplier management experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Hands-on, proactive, and detail-focused with a drive for results
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly
  • High-level IT and admin skills (Excel, ERP systems etc.)

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP systems
  • Experience in the FMCG or food & beverage industry

Working With...

You’ll be a key part of our Production Support Team, collaborating closely with:

  • Bottling & Engineering Teams
  • Quality Assurance
  • Brewing & Sales
