Product Planner (MC598)
Overview
Product Planner reporting to the Chief Product Officer. The role contributes to creating and defining Triumph motorcycles, joining historic brands such as Bonnevilles, Rockets, Tigers, Speed and Street Triples. The ideal candidate combines motorcycle knowledge, creativity and passion to make a significant contribution to the new product development process.

Product Planner Duties and Responsibilities
- Initiate and develop new model and accessory product scopes, specifications and product information documents in conjunction with the Head of Product.
- Liaise with the Stylists and Design department in developing motorcycle design.
- Prepare clear and concise research reports on competitor products and existing market and customer trends.
- Liaise with and assist the Market Research team in creating research that provides deep and meaningful insight into customer needs.
- Represent the voice of the customer in project meetings and discussions with other departments.
- Work with the pricing team to develop the price and market position of the product.
- Liaise and assist the marketing team in creating marketing assets.
- Undertake and assist with projects as required by your Manager.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required by your Manager.
Person Specification
- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent and proven relevant experience.
- Data rational and able to identify customer preferences by analysis of available data.
- Willing and able to travel across Europe around five times per year.
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, including with technical and nontechnical audiences.
Hours of Work
39 hrs per week. Monday to Friday.
