The Role

We're looking for a Product Engineer to help evolve our customer-facing systems, both internal and external. This role is hands-on across our stack of technologies: from data storage systems such as Postgres to our React-based web apps. If you love working full stack with a range of cutting-edge technologies in an exciting domain, then this role is for you.

What We Look For

• Proficient with one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, TypeScript or similar)
• 4-6 years software engineering experience
• Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills, and a strong ability to deliver results within tight timelines

What You'll Do

• Own the design and implementation across our client-facing technology stack: Postgres, Java, Node and React
• Work closely with product and operations to build features that serve both internal and external customers
• Play a key role in refactoring and rearchitecting our existing codebase
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing and automation
• Be part of a core team of senior engineers tasked with fundamental system design decisions

What We're Looking For

Technical Experience

• Experience working full stack: database, business logic and front end systems
• Experience developing in complex domains
• Fluency in programming languages such as Typescript, Go, Python, or Java
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with redesigning and refactoring legacy systems
