Overview

Are you a Procurement Officer with a passion for driving change and a talent for managing complex contracts? A unique SME in Bedford, a leading name in aerodynamic research, working with major international aerospace and defense clients like Bombardier, Boeing, and Airbus. Working at the forefront of engineering, using our on-site transonic wind tunnel to create highly accurate models of military and civilian aircraft.

What You'll Do

This isn’t just a standard procurement job. As a key part of our business transformation, you’ll be central to shaping our supplier relationships. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will:

  • Drive our bid programs by working with project managers to create and execute competitive tenders.
  • Develop and implement supplier selection strategies, ensuring transparency and fairness at every step.
  • Proactively manage supplier contracts, ensuring delivery and handling any necessary changes.
  • Ensure full compliance with our governance requirements, bringing integrity and diligence to every task.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and contribute to formal reviews, showcasing your ability to lead.
