Overview

Join us as a Process Architect at Barclays, where you will collaborate with stakeholders and use data and MI to identify process optimisation opportunities for capacity creation in relevant business areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evolv and implement the bank's technology architecture and strategies aligned to the business and technology objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including Enterprise Architecture teams, to provide subject matter expertise and share knowledge.
• Motivate and lead a diverse collection of technologists, business and operations teams.
• Assess new technologies to address current and future business needs.
• Determine optimal solutions while balancing continuous requirements imposed by compliance, governance, security and funding.
• Monitor and analyze performance, resiliency and stability of applications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and identify industry developments that may impact the bank's operations and controls.
• Support engineering and architecture community initiatives and mentor team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the financial industry.
• Good Process Architect/Processing Engineering experience.
• Extensive experience in Enterprise/Process Architecture with a specialization in Business Architecture and Business Process Engineering within the banking sector.
• Validated experience of re‑engineering and optimising business processes for large financial institutions.
• Deep understanding of IT Architecture and its interplay with business and data architectures.
• Good knowledge of core banking products and operations, including Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Risk Management, Credit and operational risk, and Back‑Office Operations.
