Overview

Private Client Solicitor (locum position), 4+ PQE, Essex, £excellent. An immediate opportunity is available for a Private Client Locum to support a firm on an initial 4-week assignment, with the potential for extension. The ideal solicitor will be STEP qualified.

Responsibilities

• Will instruction and preparation
• Handling applications for Grants of Representation and full estate administration
• Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Managing Court of Protection applications
• Conducting matters on behalf of clients
• Managing support staff
• Overseeing the financial management of client files including collection of monies on account and billing
• Contributing to the development and expansion of the department

Qualifications

• Solicitors should have at least 4 years’ PQE and experience dealing with complex private client matters
• The ideal candidate will be STEP qualified
• Ability to hit the ground running with cases at various stages of process
