Our client is looking for a Private Client Paralegal

Client Details

Description

  • Assist in the preparation and drafting of wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, and related documentation

  • Support the administration of estates from initial instructions through to final distribution, including obtaining probate

  • Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and other professionals (e.g. accountants, HMRC)

  • Conduct legal research on relevant legislation, case law, and best practices

  • Prepare inheritance tax forms and other HMRC documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and records

  • Attend client meetings (in person or virtually) and prepare attendance notes

  • Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with internal procedures and legal regulations

  • Provide general administrative support to the Private Client team

Profile

  • Prior experience working in a private client department is highly desirable

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential information

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
