Qualifications

  • Must be a qualified solicitor with 0-2 years PQE in a privacy focused Counsel position.
  • Required experience in a tech company, preferably software focused.
  • Understanding of privacy and data protection laws globally, including the USA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide privacy and data protection advice to various stakeholders.
  • Ensure data protection is integrated into product features.
  • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
  • Support technology and information security teams on data privacy.

Skills

Qualified solicitor in the UK
Proven work in a tech company
Knowledge of data protection laws globally
Practical experience in privacy by design
Knowledge of risk management
Knowledge of OneTrust, JIRA, Confluence
