Prison Cleared HCA Opportunity in HMP Holme House, Holme House Rd, Stockton-on-Tees TS18 2QU: £14.32 per hour PAYE, Starting ASAP and Ongoing. Choose between early shifts from 07:00 to 16:45 or long days from 07:00 to 20:15. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Are you ready for a new adventure in healthcare? We're seeking a skilled Prison Cleared Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our team at HMP Holme House. This is an exciting chance to make a real difference in a unique setting, where each day brings new challenges and rewards. If you have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent clinical experience, and your MAST training is up to date, this role could be perfect for you!

Responsibilities
  • Support the patient journey from the first day at reception to the final day of discharge.
  • Conduct reception screenings to ensure a smooth entry process.
  • Deliver agreed care packages, maintaining high standards of care.
  • Perform physical health observations, contributing to maintaining inmate wellness.
  • Carry out clinical duties such as phlebotomy, ECGs, and NHS Health Checks.
  • Take part in the emergency response team to ensure safety and rapid assistance when needed.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent clinical experience, or NHS Care Certificate with relevant clinical experience.
