A leading engineering firm is looking for a Principal Electrical Power Engineer to join their team in Barrow-in-Furness or Filton. This hybrid role involves defining and designing Electrical Power Systems equipment, authoring technical documentation, and managing technical risks. Essential qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering and Chartered Engineer status or progress towards it. Location: Barrow-in-Furness or Filton – Hybrid – (Barrow – 2 days a fortnight onsite; 1 day a week onsite at Filton) depending on business needs
Salary: Up to £55k (commensurate with skills and experience)

Working on the UK’s next- SSN design that incorporates technology from the UK, Australia and the United States you will be part of the Electrical Power team responsible for defining the needs of equipment, defining the system elements required to feed into the submarine design and build process, including design documentation, spatial modelling and build outputs. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
