The Position

In order to continue providing clients with an expert service, the business is now looking to recruit a Principal Civil Engineer into the team in Leeds city centre – just a short walk from the train station.

As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will work across the entire project lifecycle in asset planning, strategy, concept design, outline design & detailed design. You’ll take on responsibility for the leadership & mentoring of Engineers in the team and work alongside overall project design leads to ensure successful project delivery. You will also deliver leading edge design, whilst supporting & mentoring more junior engineers.

The Candidate

You should have a passion for engineering with extensive design experience in the UK water industry. You’ll have a degree in Civil Engineering and ideally hold Chartered status with a relevant professional body such as ICE or CIWEM.

You will have gained experienced delivering community focused projects, whilst working collaboratively with project teams to delivery innovative solutions.

The business will support your growth & development through training & project exposure, though prior experience within storm overflows, SUDS, surface water management & sewage treatment would be beneficial.
