Job description

Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Stockport, SK5
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Pay Rate: £130 to £190 per day (Dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (potential for a permanent contract)

Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Primary Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in the SK5 area of Stockport. This Primary Teacher position is to start as soon as possible and is a full-time, long-term opportunity teaching a bright and bubbly Year 2 class.

The school is a large, friendly, and inclusive mainstream primary with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing and achievement. As a Primary Teacher, you'll have the chance to become part of a supportive team with great leadership and CPD opportunities.

Key Responsibilities for the Primary Teacher:

  1. Deliver engaging and effective lessons to a Year 2 class.
  2. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  3. Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with national expectations.
  4. Support pupils with a range of learning needs.
  5. Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents.

The Ideal Primary Teacher Will:

  1. Be a confident and creative Primary Teacher with experience in KS1.
  2. Have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  3. Be passionate about making learning accessible and fun.
  4. Be a strong communicator with excellent classroom management.
  5. Be enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive in the classroom.

Primary Teacher Requirements:

  1. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
  2. Right to work in the UK.
  3. Recent, relevant teaching references.
  4. Strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum.
