Job Title: Primary School Teacher - Key Stage 1 & 2 (Merthyr Tydfil)

Location: Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, UK

Salary: £173.00 per day (minimum)

This is an excellent opportunity for teachers with experience in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to contribute to a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in accordance with the national curriculum
• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student development
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic achievement
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning and wellbeing
• Prepare and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of learners
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behaviour

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching primary school children, specifically in KS1 and KS2
• Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum and assessment methods
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
• Reliable, professional, and committed to high standards of education

Working Hours

• Full-time or part-time positions available
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
