Primary Cover Supervisor

All Year Groups | Daily & Long-Term

Locations: Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Daventry, Rushden & surrounding areas

Simply Education is seeking confident and reliable Primary Cover Supervisors to support primary schools with planned and short-notice absences.

This role involves supervising classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, delivering pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise whole classes in the absence of the class teacher
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials
  • Maintain classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support pupils with their learning and classroom routines
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on behaviour and engagement
Requirements
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting
  • Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
  • Ability to engage pupils across different age groups
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
