Overview

As a Primary Care Manager at Bupa Health Clinics, you’ll lead the operational and clinical performance at Basinghall Clinic, ensuring excellence in customer service, regulatory compliance, and team development. You’ll be responsible for driving growth, improving efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all service lines. Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all Health Centre operations, ensuring optimal performance, regulatory compliance (including CQC), and exceptional customer satisfaction across adult and paediatric services.
  • Drive commercial growth and operational efficiency, overseeing client contracts, resource scheduling, and local marketing initiatives to maximise business opportunities and profitability.
  • Collaborate with corporate clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to promote Connected Care and seamless service delivery across locations.
  • Analyse customer feedback, complaints, and performance data to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure robust governance and risk management frameworks are in place, maintaining compliance with clinical, legal, and statutory obligations including infection control, safeguarding, and data protection.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams, embedding a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous learning. Use employee feedback to drive engagement and performance.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and service integration with Secondary Care teams, aligning operations with strategic goals and customer needs.
Key Skills / Qualifications
  • Proven experience in operational leadership and people management within a regulated healthcare or wellbeing environment.
  • Strong commercial judgement and ability to drive business performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of motivating teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance frameworks.
  • Experience in project management, risk management, and service development.
