Preventative Maintenance Technician

SKF is a leading global supplier and a company that specializes in manufacturing bearings, seals, lubrication systems and related products & services.

SKF Clevedon designs, sales and manufactures self-lubricating spherical and bush bearings predominantly for the aerospace industry.

As a Preventative Maintenance Technician you will be servicing, repairing and improving on a wide range of production equipment – including CNC lathes, mills and grinding machines.

Main responsibilities
  • Preventative maintenance servicing of manufacturing equipment
  • Repair and support with repairs of equipment
  • Review & update preventive maintenance programs
  • Collaborate and plan to minimize disruption
Requirements
  • Technical education, as Level 3 Apprenticeship or T level
  • Electrical qualification and able to demonstrate electrical safety
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good communicatin skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Interest in learning and developing new skills

Additional information

The location for this position will be based in Clevedon, UK. This is a local contract.

The position holder reports to the Maintenance & Tool Room Manager.
