About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Press Brake Programmer / Setter / Operator to run our Amada HFE press brake as part of a busy fabrication shop. This role suits someone who cares about accuracy, repeatability, and setting jobs up properly, not just getting parts off the machine. You’ll be working from drawings, programming bends, setting tooling, and producing parts that make the next stage of fabrication easier.

Responsibilities
  • Setting and operating Amada HFE 100-3 press brake
  • Programming bends from engineering drawings
  • Working with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
  • Producing accurate, consistent parts
  • Organising parts clearly for downstream processes
  • Carrying out basic machine checks and maintenance
  • Keeping the area safe, tidy, and organised
  • You’ll be trusted to manage your own work without constant supervision
Qualifications / Requirements
  • 2+ years’ experience operating press brakes
  • Confident reading and working from drawings
  • Care about bend accuracy, tooling setup
