Overview

Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse (Bank) – North Staffordshire | Part time | Up to £20 per hour depending on experience. This bank/adhoc role involves weekend work and requires registration with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC) and relevant post-registration experience.

Role Summary

As a Staff Nurse in our hospital, you'll be attentive, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic, and you'll provide high standards of patient care within a consultant-led pre-assessment service.

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will

• Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service
• As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery
• Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care
• Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
• Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
• Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities
• Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key

About Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital

We are recognised for our expert clinical care, friendly atmosphere, teamwork, and commitment to training. Our purpose-built hospital has 39 bedrooms, 3 theatres, 1 minor treatment facility and busy outpatient department. We provide physiotherapy, pathology, CT, MRI and diagnostic imaging services. We are located on Clayton Road, off the A519 and offer free staff parking.
