Job description

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Nurse with General Practice Experience to join our team.

You will have a Registered General Nurse Qualification. Be currently NMC registered, and work within the NMC code of conduct at all times.

We offer NHS Pension Scheme, 5 weeks annual leave and bank holidays pro rata.

Days / hours - ideally Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (morning and afternoon)

Main duties of the job

The role will encompass all aspects of Practice Nursing including:

Immunisation, cytology, contraception, wound care, injections, diabetes, asthma and COPD, hypertension, heart disease, dementia annual reviews and travel vaccinations.

The successful candidate will work to enhance the provision of long-term conditions management within the practice, with the focus on delivering excellent care to our patients.

Promote the continuing professional development of yourself and other nurses in the team. Developing the nursing team and future services.

We are a busy and welcoming practice, with excellent patient care at the centre of what we do. We provide care to almost 12,200 patients and are part of the Taff Ely Cluster.

We have a main site in Pontyclun and a branch site in Llanharry.

As a training practice we host GP registrars and medical students.

We deliver a full range of Enhanced Services.
