Job summary

A healthcare provider in Harrow is seeking a part-time Practice Nurse. Responsibilities include immunizations, cytology, ECGs, and supporting GPs in minor surgery. Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming practice in Harrow on a part time basis to work between 12 to 15 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse with a passion for providing high quality patient care. The role will include Long Term Condition reviews, Child Immunisations, Cytology and general practice nurse duties.

Person Specification
Experience
  • Experience of working in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
  • Experience of working in a primary care environment
  • Experience of EMIS Web clinical system
  • Understanding of clinical coding in general and Read coding in particular
  • Experience of a multi-skilled approach to Chronic Disease Management
  • Experience of working in a complex organisation
  • Experience of diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses
  • Evidence of involvement in Research and Development
Qualifications
