Overview

At New Direction Support, we provide award-winning, person-centred care to people with learning disabilities, autism and additional needs. We are passionate about empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives in their own homes, supported by skilled, motivated and compassionate teams. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Practice Management Team and recruiting a Practice Leader to join us.

Role

As a Practice Leader, you will play a pivotal role within our care structure. You will lead and inspire teams of support workers, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support that truly reflects each individual's needs, preferences and goals. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will model best practice, coach staff, and drive positive outcomes for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promoting Quality of Sleep (QoS) and Quality of Life (QoL)
  • Creating and maintaining a positive workplace culture based on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Ensuring service users' needs, choices and aspirations are met
  • Coaching and developing staff through modelling and constructive feedback
  • Reviewing staff practice and promoting continuous improvement
  • Supporting active engagement in meaningful activities and relationships
  • Ensuring robust safeguarding practices to protect individuals from harm
  • Participating in the on-call rota, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
