Responsibilities

  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation of tax returns.
  • Provide clients with tax planning advice and financial recommendations.
  • Assist clients with financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Skills

Experience within accountancy practice
Understanding of tax, accounting, and audit procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation of tax returns for both individuals and businesses, ensuring timely and accurate filing.
  • Provide clients with tax planning advice and financial recommendations.
  • Assist clients with financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing their accounting needs.
  • Liaise with HMRC and other relevant 3rd party authorities regarding client matters.
  • Keep up to date with accounting and tax regulations to ensure accurate and compliant service delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience within accountancy practice.
  • Understanding of tax, accounting, and audit procedures.
  • Formal qualifications such as ACA/ACCA (consideration given to Qualified by Experience Accountants with relevant experience).
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
