About the Role

As PPM Coordinator, you'll support the delivery of planned maintenance across the University's operational estate, which includes over 370 buildings used for teaching, research, and academic activity. You'll help ensure maintenance tasks are scheduled, tracked, and completed efficiently and in line with compliance requirements. This is a hands-on role focused on coordinating maintenance activities, updating records in our Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system, and liaising with internal teams and external contractors. You'll play a vital part in keeping our estate safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain planned maintenance schedules for building systems and assets.
  • Coordinate maintenance tasks with contractors and internal teams to minimise disruption.
  • Maintain and update the CAFM system with accurate asset and service data.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Produce reports on maintenance activity and performance indicators.
  • Assist with planning building shutdowns and maintenance during refurbishment or project works.
  • Act as a point of contact for maintenance queries and scheduling updates.
Qualifications
  • Experience in facilities coordination, maintenance planning, or a similar operational role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience using CAFM systems ideally Invida and Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of health and safety or statutory compliance in a building maintenance context is an advantage.
