Overview
Your role will cover activities from early feasibility and technology assessments through to certification and supporting transition to production. You will operate in all stages of the product lifecycle, ensuring products meet quality, cost and rate targets by working closely with wide ranging stakeholders as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Support circuit design, prototyping, testing and integration/design proving of hardware needed for motor control, feedback loops and general control system support during flight.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of high-integrity power electronics for actuation systems, ensuring reliable performance and robust interfaces with other systems.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to address safety, security and quality constraints and to deliver excellent design solutions.
- Engage with stakeholders across the lifecycle to ensure requirements, risks and mitigations are understood and managed.
Qualifications
- Ideally, degree-qualified with demonstrable background and experience in Electronic Design, development and delivery.
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team, with an awareness of the challenges and opportunities this brings and a passion for collaboration.
- Experience of working in high-integrity industries with stringent safety and security constraints; an appreciation of MBDA's responsibility to deliver excellence at every level.
- Proven experience in power electronics and a commitment to designing excellent solutions.

- Location: Stevenage. Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience. Permanent, full-time (hybrid working; role predominantly site based; relocation package may be available).
