Job summary

A reputable delivery service provider is seeking a Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver in Corby. This role offers a pay rate of £13.37 per hour with up to 40 hours per week available. Responsibilities include sorting and delivering parcels, using a handheld device, and lifting mail bags. Candidates should have a full UK manual driving licence and strong customer service skills. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Sort and load deliveries at the local delivery office.
• Use a handheld device for routes and signatures.
• Deliver letters and parcels on foot and/or by vehicle.
• Lift and carry mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg.
• Use delivery trolleys when required.

Schedule: Monday to Friday & weekend availability required, 2pm-7pm
Overtime: Available

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
