A leading ferry operation company is seeking a Port Manager for Mull Ports. This role involves ensuring the efficient and safe operation of multiple ports and slipways, managing customer relationships, and adhering to Health & Safety regulations. It is a multi-award-winning ferry and port operation and ship management specialist providing essential lifeline services and logistical support to island and remote communities.
Responsible to the Area Operations Manager for the efficient and safe operation of the Ports and Slipways for which responsible, ensure that all customer, business partner relationships and operational service requirements are delivered in accordance with the Company's specifications and obligations.
Ensure all Port operations and activities are undertaken in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and that staff for which responsible are competent to undertake their required duties and are fully briefed and equipped to provide a comprehensive service to customers.
Identify opportunities to generate revenue improvement, assist in implementing cost reduction and ensure all costs including staff and service operations are kept under control and within budget.
As Port Manager for Mull, you will be based at the Craignure port office and will be responsible for Craignure, Tobermory, Kilchoan, Lochaline, Fishnish, Fionnphort, Iona, Bull Hole and Dearg Phort.
