Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Policy, Research and Information Officer to join us!

This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £44,355 £48,446 per annum.

Responsibilities

This role helps improve the Adult Social Care department through better policies, smarter use of information, and co-production with communities. Reporting to the Principal Social Worker, you will:

  • Lead the development of policies and guidance.
  • Research and evaluate new ways of working, including the use of AI and technology.
  • Create accessible information for staff and residents.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Adult Social Care.
Qualifications
  • Essential: Relevant qualifications to degree level or equivalent experience in research and policy development.
Desirable
  • Experience in developing policies and managing information content.
  • Understanding of co-production and experience working in social care or health.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Excellent IT and organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Other requirements
