A leading aerospace company based in Cwmbran, Wales, is seeking a Project Management Office (PMO) Engineering professional. This role involves supporting operational teams by achieving cost and quality objectives and ensuring compliance with engineering management processes. The ideal candidate will have project management experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Infrequent international travel may be required for benchmarking activities.

Your role is to contribute to engineering, program, project and business line management and performance by providing :
1.support for operational teams in engineering to help achieve their cost objectives (including sales targets for program aspects), delivery and quality objectives. This also encompasses managing risks and opportunities, and deliverables.
2.As delegated by the program, project or business line manager, depending on their scope of responsibility, you are responsible for the following duties and tasks :
Supporting the Project Chief Engineers and the Engineering Heads of Functions, the PMO Engineering will assist in the operational management of the engineering functions, covering a diverse range of activities that support departmental governance and contribute to the delivery of project objectives.
The role does not have direct management responsibilities and is expected to perform across the various functions within the Engineering and Program departments.
The role holder does not have any budget holder responsibilities.
The role is based in Cwmbran, Wales. Infrequent travel may be required including to international locations (suppliers, customers, other Safran sites) to perform, for example, benchmarking activities.
