A leading housing association in Basingstoke is looking for a full-time Plumber to carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance across their properties. The ideal candidate will possess an NVQ level 2 in Plumbing or similar experience and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include installing and repairing domestic plumbing systems as well as investigating and resolving water supply issues. Additionally, a driving license and experience in occupied premises are essential. This role offers competitive benefits including a tool allowance, holidays, and a company van.
As a Plumber you'll complete plumbing repairs and maintenance jobs to SNG's properties in line with work schedules within our Responsive Repairs Team and elsewhere depending on demand.
You should have a minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing, or have at least 5 years experience within this core trade. You will have experience of working in occupied premises and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Have a strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of health & safety best practices. Enjoy working as part of a team. The ability to use mobile technology such as iPad or PDA is essential. A current CSCS card is desirable.
This is a full time role, working 40 hours per week, with opportunities to supplement your salary through call out and overtime. Due to the requirement to travel within this role, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year driving experience and have the ability to drive a company van. This role is subject to a satisfactory licence check, essential qualifications check, and a basic DBS disclosure.
