Job description

Bridgetown Primary School is looking to appoint an outstanding OPAL play leader who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed to providing a positive lunch time provision for all pupils.

OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) is a programme committed to providing every pupil in our school with an amazing hour of high-quality play every day, with no exceptions. We are fortunate to have large school grounds which include a forest school area, MUGA, garden, playgrounds, play equipment and a field to enable our pupils to play hard.

We would like someone with a tolerant and compassionate nature, a sense of humour and the ability to work both on their own and as part of our supportive team.

The successful candidate will lead the school’s Play Team (comprising Teaching Assistants and Lunchtime supervisors) and as a team, ensure that all our children have meaningful lunchtime play every day.
