Plasterer Multi

• Annual Salary: £33000 - £36500
• Location: Mobile around north Hampshire
• Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Plasterer to join our Clients Damp & Mould Team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on the road, as it includes a company van and fuel card for business use, ensuring you are not out of pocket.

Day-to-day of the role

• Carry out all forms of plastering repairs in properties as part of the Damp & Mould Works Team and elsewhere depending on demands.
• Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materials.
• Prepare and secure corner beads, fix pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, coving, ceiling centres, and other plaster fittings.
• Determine plasterboard layout, install insulation and vapour barriers, and manage plumbing and straightening of corners, angles, wall, and ceiling surfaces.
• Create decorative textures in finishing coats, measure, mark, and cut plasterboard, and secure panels to walls, ceilings, and battens.
• Cover joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, smoothing them using wet brushes and sandpaper.
• Mix and apply coats of plaster, cement, and render to structures using trowels, levelling and smoothing coats to uniform thickness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 2 in Plastering or have a minimum of 5 years proven track record working as a plasterer.
• Experience within a similar role, ideally from within buru residential/housing sector.
• Strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of health & safety best practices.
• Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's experience.
• Ability to drive and take home a company van.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
