A global packaging supplier is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will oversee all activities to ensure a safe and efficient operation, driving performance and managing key performance indicators. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in plant management, particularly in packaging. BASIC SALARY : £70,000 – £75,000

Plant Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager – Packaging Solutions
As our Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and controlling all operating activities within the business unit and ensuring the safe and efficient running of the site.
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will be required to deliver the strategy and plans for the business unit. You will have full operational related cost responsibility, promote and engage with key stakeholders. You will need to lead, motivate, and inspire the team to success. Ultimately, you will deliver and manage KPI’s and other measures as well as coach and train the team to develop within their roles; driving capabilities and competencies across the business unit in line with any UK wide objectives and targets.
As the leader of this unit, you will inspire confidence and belief in your team and our colleagues to be the best they can and encourage development of skills and behaviours that match our ambitions, goals, and vision of the future. Creating a positive mind-set and unified team across this unit is a priority for the success of the site.
