A leading construction and waste recycling firm is seeking a skilled Plant Engineer. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mobile and static plant machinery. The ideal candidate will have relevant City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualifications, with excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently. Competitive pay with opportunities for overtime and ongoing technical training offered.

Location: Based at Blackwell, Derbyshire (J28, M1) with some off site working required at our other locations.
Hours: Your choice! We are committed to providing a healthy work / life balance so choose from either alternate day and afternoon shifts or four on / four off work schedules, day or night shifts.
Hourly rate: Excellent rates of pay, depending on experience + other benefits + opportunities for overtime
Additional benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Employee Assistance Programme, Life Assurance.

The opportunity: We are currently looking for a skilled Plant Engineer to join our amazing and friendly team to make sure that our mobile and static plant machinery is repaired and back up and running again, as quickly as possible, when maintenance is required. You’ll use the most advanced workshop systems with state-of-the-art technology. If you enjoy taking on responsibility, then we’ll give you the freedom to perform diagnostics and to decide how to carry out maintenance and repairs.
