Job description
Overview

We are looking for Physiotherapists with experience working in an MSK setting, who have significant knowledge and skill in the assessment and management of patients presenting with a wide range of MSK conditions. Part Time hours would be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Be a strong team player with excellent communication and health coaching skills.
  • Be involved in the delivery and development of pathways and support the development of junior staff and students.
  • Actively participate in service development and work on own initiative.
  • Embrace innovation and integrated working and follow best practice to ensure person-centred care.
  • Be willing to travel across NEE to meet the needs of the service.
  • Work as part of the integrated team to deliver therapeutic input to patients in a clinic setting with the aim of returning them to maximum independent living and promoting self-management in activities of daily living.
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner to provide specialist input to patients within the specialist field of expertise.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across health, social care, mental health and voluntary sectors to ensure holistic and joined-up delivery of care.
  • Empower patients to make decisions about their own care, encourage them to exercise their rights and choices, and signpost them to relevant community and voluntary services; support patients’ carers and assistants with risk management.
  • Manage the work of junior staff, assistants, students and volunteers in own professional area.
