Physical Logistics Operative

Location: Broughton

Salary: £33,576 per annum + 20% shift allowance

Shifts: Double Days (alternating weekly between mornings and afternoons). Please note, this will likely move to a 6-day shift pattern (3 on, 4 off) Days or Nights from January 2026.

About the Role

Join Guidant Global as a Physical Logistics Operative and play a vital part in supporting our warehousing operations. You\'ll be at the heart of our logistics team, ensuring materials and components are received, stored, and delivered efficiently and safely. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help keep our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and perform a range of warehousing activities, including goods receipt, storage, stock counting, picking, and preparing materials for shipment or delivery.
• Carry out documentation checks and customs inspections to ensure compliance.
• Unload and offload major parts from trailers and other transport vehicles.
• Safely handle and move large components on site, including aircraft wings, using dedicated transport equipment.
• Package smaller aircraft items for delivery to the final assembly line.
• Operate major transportation jigs for returns and deliveries.
• Record all relevant information in our warehousing systems.
• Provide feedback to help us continuously improve our logistics processes.

What We\'re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience as a traffic banksman.
• Ability to work safely at height.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Familiarity with overhead crane operations.

Desirable Skills

• Certified crane driver.
• Forklift licence.
• Cherry picker licence and a valid working at height certificate.
• SAP system experience.
• Master Movers experience.
