We’re working with a friendly, well-run secondary school in Wakefield that’s looking for a committed Physical Education Teacher to join their team from January. There’s no end date attached, they’re looking for consistency and someone who can become a real presence in the department and the wider school community.

This is a school that understands the value of PE, not just for physical health, but for confidence, teamwork, and giving pupils a place to thrive. The department is supportive, organised, and passionate about giving students positive experiences of sport and physical activity.

What you’ll be doing
  • Teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4
  • Delivering engaging, inclusive PE lessons that pupils actually enjoy
  • Promoting teamwork, resilience, and healthy habits
  • Working as part of a supportive and collaborative PE department
  • Encouraging participation and positive behaviour through sport
