Job description

Job title: Photography Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time (3.5 or 4 days per week) Photography teacher, to work at an exceptional college in Hull. This role is to start ASAP, and will last until at least February half term in the first instance. Planning and marking is essential for this role, so payment will be scaled to the main teaching pay scale. This scales to a daily rate of 168.80 and 261.77 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. The none teaching day of the week will be Wednesday, but shifts at different schools or colleges may be available if you if wanted.

The College is located in Hull and easily accessible via public transport and via car. They have a truly world class teaching provision, and have exceptional facilities in place for candidates. There is an Art/Photography technician that will use their technical knowledge to assist where needed.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Photography lessons primarily to First Year A level students. Primarily the first few days will be planned before taking charge or pepping your own lessons. We are looking for a candidate with experience delivering Photography to A Level students, or at the very least excellent subject knowledge that could be applied.

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.

• Has a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Photography to Key Stage 5
• Have experience working within schools in the UK
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the full CV History
• Legal right to work in the UK
