Job description

Located in the highly prestigious Belgravia district of London, The Peninsula London is seeking to hire a creative Photographer & Videographer. This role is responsible for end-to-end production of photography and video content. Content to bring the story of The Peninsula London and its happenings to life in an engaging, relevant way.

Key accountabilities
  • End to end production of attention- grabbing photography and video content including ideation, storyboarding, shooting, editing and post-production.
  • Work with Ditgital Marketing Manager to bring the stories of The Peninsula London to life through creative content, with 85% output produced for Instagram and the remaining 15% for other channels e.g. website, advertising, internal comms.
  • Ensure all content is shot and edited through a 'luxury lens', aligns with global social media guidelines and delivers againist internal metrics.
  • Be Curious and passionate about creativity. Understand and articulate an opinion on what is cutting throgh the noise.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across all departments- with a particular focus on F&B - to unearth and capture interesting goings on around the hotel.
  • Plan and oversee all shoot logistics, Liaising with internal teams to ensure you are the pressions, access, personnel, props etc. needed. Lisising with external teams to ensure they are fully briefed on requirements e.g drone photographers, VFX studios.
  • Clearly communicate activities to all key stakeholders pre, during and post shoots.
  • Manage submissions, feedback and approvals of content with Global Social Marketing team.
  • Join and contribute to relevant creative conversations across the wider business.
General requirements
  • End to end production of attention grabbing, social first photography and video content including ideation, storyboarding, shooting, editing and post- production.
  • Experience in community management, copywriting, and understanding of native analyics, experience in post- production techniques.
  • Excellent proficiency in Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro imperative.
  • Self-starter, creative, team-oriented, detailed-oriented and organised.
