A leading health service provider in the UK is looking for a Pharmacy Digital and Informatics Lead to oversee the digital transformation of pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the operational delivery of digital systems and developing strategies that support safe use of medicines. This role requires strong leadership skills, experience in pharmacy informatics, and collaboration with various teams to optimize digital solutions. The position demands a forward-thinking approach to enhance pharmacy service delivery.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and forward-thinking Pharmacy Digital and Informatics Lead to provide senior leadership in the delivery of digital transformation across pharmacy services. This post is open to both registered Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
At Band 8a, the postholder will lead the operational delivery and optimisation of pharmacy digital systems.
At Band 8b, the post holder will have significant experience in previous management of digital systems, have a proven track record in leadership and will have a broader strategic remit, shaping digital medicines strategy across the organisation or system, influencing senior stakeholders, and leading complex transformation programmes.
This role is critical to ensuring digital systems support safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines while aligning with national digital and medicines optimisation priorities.
