We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide business and administrative support to the various sections and staff within the Pharmacy Departments at Hexham, The Northumbria, North Tyneside General and Wansbeck Hospitals.
The post will be based at North Tyneside General Hospital but the post holder may be required to work at other sites within the Trust. Based within the Pharmacy Office at North Tyneside General Hospital, you will become an integral part of the Pharmacy team, undertaking duties which contribute to the safe, effective and timely procurement of medicines.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate. The role is based at North Tyneside General Hospital with potential to work at other sites within the Trust. The successful candidate will be prepared to undertake duties that contribute to procurement, invoicing processes, shortage management, and general clerical support to the Pharmacy department.
