A clinical pharmacy service provider is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Prescriber in Liverpool. This role involves providing effective prescribing and patient care in primary care settings. We are looking for a confident and motivated Clinical Pharmacist Prescriber V300 essential to join our growing team. In this role you will provide safe and effective prescribing within your scope of competence deliver medicines optimisation and structured medication reviews in primary care and act as the key point of contact for your allocated sites. You will use EMIS to manage patient records and clinical coding working independently while maintaining close communication with the wider team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and service delivery. This is a client facing role where your clinical expertise will be matched by your ability to build strong relationships maintain professional independence and spot opportunities to add value to the practices you work with.
What you will do
Provide safe effective prescribing within scope of competence V300 essential
Deliver medicines optimisation and structured medication reviews in primary care
Build and maintain strong client relationships as the main point of contact for your sites
Confidently use EMIS to manage patient records and clinical coding
Work independently while keeping communication open with the wider team
We are looking for someone whoIs a GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescribing qualification V300
Has proven experience in a primary care settingIs competent with EMIS and confident with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Can manage their own workload and make sound clinical decisions
Holds a full UK driving licence and can travel to client sites
Brings commercial awareness and a proactive approach to service delivery
