Overview
To provide comprehensive, confidential PA, secretarial and administrative support at senior director and senior management level, ensuring that all administrative processes and tasks are undertaken efficiently, effectively and to a high standard, contributing to the smooth running of the office and its overall effectiveness. To supervise and support the ICUCR (Intermediate Care & Urgent Community Response) Admin Team and Stroke Admin Team.
The post holder will be the PA for the Operations Director of ICUCR (Intermediate Care & Urgent Community Response), and will also provide administration support for other senior managers of ICUCR.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support at senior level and supervise the ICUCR Admin Team and Stroke Admin Team (total of 7 staff).
- Act as PA for the Operations Director of ICUCR and provide administration support for other senior managers within ICUCR.
- Support the smooth running of the office and administrative processes, ensuring high standards of efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate and supervise the ICUCR Admin and Stroke Admin teams, alongside the other PA who shares this post.
- Contribute to a positive, well-led culture with regular supervision and staff development opportunities.
Work Pattern and Location
- Part-time role: 15 hours per week, Band 4 permanent.
- Shifts ideally across 3 days, 5 hours per day, within core hours (08:30–13:30 or 09:00–14:00).
- Post will job share with another PA; shifts on Monday and Friday are essential to provide Mon–Fri support for the Senior Leadership and admin teams.
- Base location: Norwich Community Hospital.
Person Specification
- Positive can-do attitude with experience in comprehensive administration, preferably at a senior level.
- As a Band 4, supervisory experience and skills are essential for overseeing the ICUCR Admin and Stroke Admin teams.
- Experience of supervising teams; ability to work across multiple senior managers and maintain confidential, professional support.
