About Leo

Join Team Leo! Be part of the adventure — support a super fun 7-year-old. Leo is non-verbal but very interactive, autistic, energetic, and always on the move. He loves bouncing on the trampoline, climbing at soft play, zooming around the park, and getting messy with slime, mud, water, and other squishy things. His family is looking for two fun-loving, hands-on Personal Assistants to support him with 2:1 care, mainly to help him get out into the community, explore the world and have lots of fun.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 2:1 care to Leo in various settings.
  • Help Leo engage in community activities, outings, and play.
  • Keep up with Leo as he is fast, cheeky, and curious.
  • Assist with personal care, toileting, hygiene, and safety when out and about.
  • Support with driving when needed (one of you ideally to drive; Leo has a Blue Badge and a buggy).
  • Manage and accommodate Leo’s sensory needs (sensory seeking activities such as bouncing, splashing, and messy play).
About Leo

Non-verbal but very interactive – Leo will lead you to what he wants (usually snacks!). He is cheeky, adventurous, and loves toys (sometimes he throws them for fun).

We’re looking for people who are
  • Energetic, playful and up for an adventure
  • Calm, patient, and understanding of autism and sensory needs
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to help with personal care
  • Willing to get messy (and laugh about it!)

Training and support will be provided – what matters most is the right attitude and energy.
