Full Time Radiographer urgently required for Private Hospital in the Vale of Glamorgan area

Dream Medical is working with a respected Private Hospital in the Vale of Glamorgan area and urgently requires a full-time Radiographer ASAP.

This role is full time (37.5 hours per week) with a salary of £21-25K depending on experience plus additional benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Be an integral part of a team providing excellent patient care over two sites.
  • Provide a high quality diagnostic imaging service through undertaking a wide range of radiographic examinations.
  • Work closely with a wide range of other healthcare professionals to support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision.
  • Perform radiological procedures within the department, on the ward and in theatre, as required, in accordance with department protocols and Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IRMER).
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment; be capable of working efficiently within a team and also have the ability to work single handed when necessary.
  • Be flexible, review policies, procedures and protocols and make recommendations regarding their content and application.
  • Provide day to day supervision of more junior and non-clinical staff within the department and participate in the on-call rota.
  • On-call duties as required.
