We’re now seeking an Asset Management Analyst to join our Milton Keynes team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for performance analytics and a desire to influence service delivery through data-led insights.

About the Role

As an Asset Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in monitoring and improving the performance of our housing stock. You’ll analyse data related to property condition, repairs history, lifecycle costs, and investment needs to support long-term asset planning and responsive maintenance strategies.

Your insights will help shape decisions on capital investment, stock sustainability, and compliance, ensuring that our homes remain safe, efficient, and aligned with both regulatory standards and resident needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse stock condition data, repairs trends, and lifecycle performance to inform asset management strategies
  • Identify underperforming assets and recommend interventions to improve value, safety, and sustainability
  • Support the development of planned maintenance and capital investment programmes
  • Produce asset performance dashboards and reports for internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Monitor compliance with Decent Homes standards, energy efficiency targets, and other regulatory benchmarks
  • Work closely with operational teams, surveyors, and asset managers to align responsive repairs with long-term asset goals
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases for investment, disinvestment, or regeneration
  • Ensure data integrity across asset management systems and recommend improvements to data collection processes
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in asset or property data analysis
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring
  • Understanding of housing stock condition, lifecycle planning, and repairs data
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly to varied audiences
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) and data manipulation
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience managing complex projects and working with internal/external partners
  • High level of integrity and ability to work independently
Preferred
  • Experience in asset management, housing, or property-related sectors
  • Relevant qualifications in data analysis, housing, or property management
  • Working knowledge of housing stock condition, repairs trends, and property compliance
What We Offer
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Annual Mears Fun Day – a company-wide thank you event
  • Paid Volunteering Leave to support causes you care about
