Overview

Macclesfield, United Kingdom; Manchester, England

As a People Coordinator, you will act as the primary point of contact, providing first level support and guidance, whilst encouraging employees to take a self-service approach. In addition, you will help deliver a high quality, efficient administrative and transactional service across the employee life cycle.

You will report into the People Services Team Lead and work in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line support and guidance on areas of the employee lifecycle relating to policies, processes and payroll, providing a \'once and done\' resolution to queries, escalating where appropriate.
  • Respond to queries in a timely manner, in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreement.
  • Utilise and optimise Workday by
    • accurately maintaining People Services tasks within the system
    • regular monitoring of task completion by employees and managers and offering coaching or providing redirection to make sure appropriate processes are being followed
    • Frequent data auditing by running reports to identify discrepancies or support report requests from other areas of the business
  • Work collaboratively with the HRIS team to ensure the system is working correctly.
  • Manage service awards and probation end dates, following up with managers where appropriate.
  • Refer to relevant knowledge base articles and policy materials to ensure responses are accurate and in accordance with the business.
  • Attend and participate in regular meetings as part of the People Coordinator role and as a member of People Services.
  • Manage the Payroll and People Services mailboxes.
  • Liaise with Payroll and Benefits teams to ensure that documentation is saved correctly and payroll cut off is observed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the People Services Team and local BU as required.
  • Support ad-hoc projects as required.

  • Methodical and organized to meet deadlines and prioritise a busy workload.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of individuals across all levels and geographies.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
  • Experience with ticket management systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
