About the role

As a People Coordinator, you will act as the primary point of contact, providing first‑level support and guidance, whilst encouraging employees to take a self‑service approach. In addition, you will help deliver a high‑quality, efficient administrative and transactional service across the employee life cycle. You will report into the People Services Team Lead and work in a remote capacity.

Here’s what you’ll be doing
  • Provide first‑line support and guidance on areas of the employee lifecycle relating to policies, processes and payroll, providing a ‘once and done’ resolution to queries, escalating where appropriate.
  • Respond to queries in a timely manner, in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreement.
  • Effective utilisation and optimisation of Workday.
  • Work collaboratively with the HRIS team to ensure the system is working correctly.
  • Manage service awards and probation end dates, following up with managers where appropriate.
  • Reference relevant knowledge base articles and other policy materials to ensure responses are accurate and in accordance with the business.
  • Attend and participate in regular meetings as part of your People Coordinator role and as a member of People Services.
  • Manage the Payroll and People Services mailboxes.
  • Liaise with Payroll and the Benefits team to ensure that appropriate documentation is saved correctly and keep in mind payroll cut‑off at all times.
  • Liaise with other members of the People Services Team and local BU as required.
  • Support with ad‑hoc projects as and when required.
About you
  • An enthusiastic HR Professional who is keen to learn and develop.
  • You like seeing things through to completion and are adept at prioritising a busy and varied workload within a shared services environment or similar.
  • You are highly responsible, with a customer‑service‑mindset.
  • You can demonstrate initiative and a drive to identify ‘better ways’ of working to improve efficiency and quality of data.
  • Methodical and organised to meet deadlines and prioritise a busy and varied workload.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of individuals across all levels and geographies.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
  • Experience with Ticket Management systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
