A modern accountancy practice in Bolton is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to manage payrolls and provide excellent service to clients. The role involves handling payroll queries, ensuring compliance with legislation, and maintaining strong client relationships. Ideal candidates should have 5+ years experience and knowledge of payroll systems like Sage. This position offers a salary range of £25,000 - £31,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience from an Accountancy Practice or Payroll Bureau is essential.
• Able to deal with client payroll queries with confidence.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join a well established and modern Accountancy Practice based in Bolton. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Providing excellent end to end payroll delivery and fantastic service to all clients
• Keeping up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance, and ensure changes are introduced to client payrolls
• You will be the point of contact for your clients and key accounts, supporting them with any payroll queries
• Providing excellent client communication skills and to be able to build relationships

£25,000 - £31,000 (depending on experience)

What we are looking for

• Experience of managing or running multiple payrolls is essential - ideally from an Accountancy Practice or Payroll Bureau
• Knowledge of Sage or other payroll systems is essential
• Experience in dealing with client payroll queries with confidence
• 5+ years payroll experience
